Its been a very busy year this year here at Aquarius Home Improvements.
We’ve installed approximately 140 fitted bathrooms and kitchens. We have also completed many handyman jobs. Now its time for a well deserved break to get us all ready for a very busy 2015.
Keep reading for our ‘year in review 2014’ and some snippets of what looks to be a very busy 2015. We already have lots of new bathrooms and kitchens planned for installation already at the beginning of 2015.

How has 2014 been for us here at Aquarius Home Improvements?
2014 has been a very busy year. As we said previously, we have completed the installation of around 140 fitted bathrooms and fitted kitchens. Our handyman service has also gone from strength to strength.
We have certainly had a really busy year!
Throughout 2014 we have welcomed 2 new members of staff to our team.
Firstly we were joined by Michael, who has been an extra help in our warehouse / office. Michael has also been and seen many of our previous installations and has also been showing tile samples to new customers and generally helping wherever required.
We have also been joined by Kieran. Kieran is the latest apprentice to join us and has been working hard with Craig and Luke to gain knowledge and experience within bathroom and kitchen installations.
We were also pleased that Harley, one of our apprentices, completed his apprenticeship in September. Since then, Harley has been out and about fitting bathrooms and performing many handyman tasks for a variety of customers and we look forward to this continuing throughout 2015.
How many bathrooms and kitchens have we installed in 2014?
As part of our year in review, we looked back over the installations we completed in 2014 and we have decided to highlight one of our most exciting ones.
We were very excited to be asked by a previous customer to undertake the installation of his Fantastic Kitchen Installation. This was by far our biggest every kitchen installation and both ourselves, and James were very pleased with the finished product after a long hard 4 weeks work.
As well as our fitted bathrooms and kitchens, we also offer a fully inclusive handyman service covering plastering, plumbing, tiling and joinery.
Our plastering services have plastered around 80 walls and ceilings. Our tiling services have laid around 2000 sq/m of wall and floor tiles. Our boiler services and central heating services have installed 3 new full central heating systems and approximately 120 new radiators, towel warmers and other heaters.
On top of this, our electrician who we work closely with has undertaken the replacement of over 30 consumers units, changed around 200 lights for downlights, and installed and replaced countless sockets, switches and cabling.
All in all, 2014 has been a very busy year for us here at Aquarius Home Improvements. As you can see, its been more than just bathrooms and kitchens!
Whats in store for Aquarius Home Improvements in 2015?
We are already looking forward to our new wall and floor tiler Steve starting work with us in January. We are also looking to appoint a new fitted bathroom and fitted kitchen installer in the early part of the new year.
We will also look forward to Luke, one of our apprentices, completing his apprenticeship in the early part of the year.We hope that he will continue to grow in his development and become another valued member of our installation team.
With regards to installations, 2015 is set to become our busiest ever year.
Currently we are fully booked for installations until the end of February. March is already nearly full with only 8 Installation slots left.
2015 already looks like its going to be even busier than 2014.
We are also now considering moving from our existing premises on Enterprise Court, Ilkeston into larger premises. This will give us the extra space we need. We will continue to offer :

Final thoughts from our year in review
2014 has been a fantastic year for us here at Aquarius Home Improvements and we would like to wish all of our customers, both existing and new, a very merry christmas.
