What We’re Looking For

We’re after top-tier bathroom installers – not general builders or handymen – but genuine professionals who can carry out full installations to a consistently high standard.

But it’s not just about skills – it’s also about attitude. We’re setting the bar high because that’s what our customers expect, and it’s what we deliver.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed with us:

✅ The Right Professional Standards

• You must be presentable, approachable, and respectful.We don’t want people who think it’s acceptable to call customers “darling” or “babe.” That’s not us.
• You’ll need to be family-orientated and customer-conscious, always maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. Our customers let us into their homes – we expect that to be treated with care and respect.
• You must be able to stick to a timescale.These aren’t unrealistic targets – they’re carefully planned. If you’re regularly finishing late or calling last-minute to say you need “another day,” we’re not going to be the right fit for you.

✅ Good Planning & Communication

• You’ll need to be able to manage your own time and workflow, and give our office team plenty of notice for materials, deliveries, or support. Last-minute calls for forgotten fittings or emergency help simply aren’t acceptable.
• If you’re assigned a labourer, you’ll be expected to manage them effectively – keep them productive, guide their work, and make sure the site stays clean and efficient.We don’t accept finger-pointing when things are missed.

✅ Minimum Requirements

To be considered for a position with Aquarius Home Improvements, you’ll need:

• A full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
• Solid communication skills with both team members and customers
• A strong understanding of your trade and a willingness to follow our procedures and company standards
• The ability to manage your own workload, plan effectively, and communicate clearly with our team
• A professional attitude and personal pride in keeping your work clean, tidy and respectful to our customers’ homes
• The capability to carry out complete bathroom installations from start to finish, without needing to be supervised or assisted

✅ Key Skills Required

We’re specifically looking for installers who can confidently carry out the following tasks:

• First and second fix plumbing of domestic hot and cold water systems
• Installation of baths, showers, shower trays, enclosures, and all associated pipework
• Assembly and fitting of fitted bathroom furniture, including basin units, WC units, worktops, and back-to-wall frames
• Tiling or panelling of walls, with a good understanding of wall preparation, levels, and setting out
• Floor tiling or LVT flooring, including subfloor prep and floor levelling where necessary
• Final finishing touches, silicone sealing, and ensuring the installation is cleaned down and ready for handover
